How the trading wallet works

What it is
An embedded Solana wallet created for you by Privy, StonkScout's wallet provider, when you sign in with email or Google. It's a separate address from any wallet you already use.
Who controls the key
The key is split into shares (your device, Privy's secure hardware, and a recovery share), so neither StonkScout nor Privy holds it whole. Turning on one-click trades approves a limited signer that can only sign swaps through Jupiter and standard token programs, not arbitrary transfers.
Funding
Send SOL or another supported funding asset to the wallet's address. Trades can only spend what you put in; there's no separate spending limit.
Withdrawals
There's no withdraw button in StonkScout yet. Export the private key (shown on Privy's site, never to StonkScout), import it into Phantom, Backpack or Solflare, and send from there.
If you lose access
Signing in again with the same email or Google account restores the wallet. If you lose that login, StonkScout can't recover it for you, so export the key and keep it somewhere safe.
Every trade is reviewed
Each trade opens a review with the full cost and minimum received. Nothing is signed until you press Submit trade.
