Wallets & Quick Trade

Connection, funding, wallet selection, exports, and signing permissions.

Connect an existing wallet

Use Connect wallet to select an available wallet provider. Check the connected address before trading. An external wallet normally presents its own approval request when a transaction needs a signature.

Connecting a wallet is separate from submitting a trade. Disconnecting ends the app connection; it does not undo confirmed transactions or remove assets from the wallet.

Quick Trade uses a separate wallet

Where configured, Quick Trade creates a Privy-managed embedded Solana wallet when you sign in. Its address and balance are separate from any existing wallet you use. Signing in with an existing identity does not automatically make that identity’s external-wallet funds available.

Open Quick Trade wallet to see its full address, SOL balance, key-export control, and sign-out control. Check the trading wallet displayed in the trade panel whenever you switch methods.

Fund the address you will actually trade from

Copy the full address from the selected wallet and use the Solana network. Check both the destination and network before sending funds. A balance in another wallet is not a balance in Quick Trade.

The app needs the chosen input asset plus any SOL required by the quote. Allow time for a transfer to confirm and balances to refresh. StonkScout does not provide a general bridge or fiat bank deposit flow.

Signing access and its limits

Quick Trade authorizes a signer for transactions matching its configured program policy so eligible trades can be signed without an external-wallet popup. Review the trade inside StonkScout before pressing the submission control.

This is not a per-trade or session spending cap. Do not interpret a preset buy amount as an enforced wallet allowance. Read the actual permissions and only fund the wallet with an amount appropriate for how you intend to use it.

Sign out ends the current app session. It is not the same as moving funds or revoking every previously granted signer permission; the current wallet page does not provide a separate revocation control.

Withdrawals, key export, and lost access

There is no in-app withdrawal button currently. Quick Trade wallet offers Privy’s key-export flow. If you choose to use it, import the exported key into a compatible Solana wallet and manage transfers there. Keep the key private; never paste it into support chats, search fields, or token websites.

Sign back in with the same login to access the associated embedded wallet. StonkScout cannot promise recovery if you lose that login and your recovery material. Export and recovery screens are handled by the wallet provider; never share a recovery phrase or private key with someone claiming to be support.
